The Time Plague is one of many Afflictions you can get in We Need To Go Deeper, acquired by by breathing anomalous time particles. The Time Plague is a deadly illness that slowly consumes its host, as the Time Devourer's fragments start to slowly corrode and destroy flesh and skin, making the infected take damage every minute and cough up infectious anomalous particles, that can serve to infect even more people with this umphatomable disease.
