The Ephyra is a gigantic Ephyra that serves as the boss of the Aurelian Depths.
Description[]
The Ephyra is a gigantic Ephyra, the larval phase of a jellyfish. However, it did not mature at all and instead continued to grow until it reached such an immense size. It has three large, pinkish protusions in between its tentacles whose purpose is unknown, but are much weaker than any other part of the creature.
Behavior[]
The Ephyra is stationary, but will continuously rotate around its axis, periodically shooting long bursts of large electrical projectiles from its five tentacle-like structures. It is completely immune with the exception of the large pink extensions protuding from its body, meaning that those must be targeted to damage it. Additionally, just like the Micro Ephyras, red electrical projectiles deal damage to the submarine, while the blue ones will deactivate a random Console, possibly wrecking havoc into the submarine, should an important console be deactivated.
Tactics[]
Attempt to avoid its electrical shots, while keeping the submarine positioned in a way where it can easily target the Ephyra's weak spots and adjust the turret's aim to compensate for the Ephyra's rotation. The Espadon's "nose" is immune to the electrical shots and will disrupt their movement, making so an experienced driver can prevent damage without having to dodge the shots.
