The Sea Monkey is a rare Enemy found in the Volcanic Depths.

Description[ | ]

The Sea Monkeys are weird humanoid creatures, with a red, thick skin covering their slim bodies, which can vary greatly in size. They possess multiple "tendrils" on their head which serve an unknown purpose, although they have been seen holding each other's tendrils when sleeping together, so it's possible they serves as a way to show affection or even communicate.

They live in a hierarchical, primitive society, possibly having a religion, as they idolize multiple idols and totems they found in the Rubble of The Living Infinite, even going as far as protecting those with their lives, as can be seen in a Message Bottle from an ill-fated voyage.

Behavior[ | ]

The Sea Monkeys will rarely be seen floating inside dead Volcanic Boar hides in pairs, and will steer it towards the submarine, infiltrating it if they make reach the ship. Once inside, they will hunt everyone they see, attacking with their muscular arms. Additionally, they will sometimes climb the ceiling, making them difficult to hit.
