The Nematode is a common enemy found in the Belly of the Giant of the Ancient Abyss. They are also periodically released from Flesh Sacs.

Description

The Nematodes are parasitic animals of the phylum Nematoda. They are ravenous, bloodthirsty creatures, which parasitize the interior of the Sleepy Giant. Although their main source of food is the behemoth they inhabit, they are more than happy to attack anyone that manages to enter their domain. Maybe in an attempt to gather more food, or perhaps even to protect their primary source of sustenance and shelter, they will throw themselves at the intruders and attack them with ferocity.

Behavior

The Nematodes will be found scattered inside the belly of The Sleepy Giant, and once approached, they will swim towards the player and repeatedly bite at them with their multiple teeth. Alone, they do not pose much of a threat, but can slowly wear down the players as they proceed through the Belly of the Beast. Additionally, if all players stay in the sub for too long and they reach the Submarine, they will tear their way through it, poking their heads in, which they will use to attack anyone that gets near.
