The Megalodon is a rare enemy found in the Ancient Abyss.

Description[]

The Megalodon is regarded as one of the largest and most powerful predators to have ever lived, with an estimated length of around 20 meters. Although presumably extinct, they appear in the depths of The Living Infinite, and scour the spore-ridden waters in search of prey and explorers alike.

Behavior[]

Once it spots the submarine, it will slowly swim toward it and repeatedly bite it. It is currently the largest non-boss enemy in the game. They are surprisingly agile for their immense size, and their powerful, crushing jaws filled with large, jagged teeth are capable of quickly pulverizing and eviscerating anything caught in them in a matter of seconds. It also possesses an abnormally large health pool. These factors contribute to its title as one of the biggest threats one can find in the Ancient Abyss. Those unlucky enough to find a Megalodon will have to make good use of their tools, abilities and wits to defeat this formidable foe.

Trivia[]

The Megalodon was originally the placeholder boss of the Ancient Abyss, and was replaced by The Sleepy Giant and subsequently turned into a rare enemy.
