Description[ | ]

The Shipwreck is a type of Civilization that is found at the end of the Cursed Waters. Ghost Pirates populate the Shipwreck and, rarely, you will be able to recruit a Voodoo Doll. Additionally, under the shipwreck there is a small cave wherein you can loot a chest and two barrels without angering the Ghost Pirates.
It is a big, decrepit sunk pirate ship with a large hole in its side, possibly the reason it sunk.

The following are the NPCs found in the Shipwreck.

The Ghost Pirates are the dwellers of the Shipwreck.

Description[ | ]

The Ghost Pirates are the souls of deceased pirates that are bound to their destroyed ship. It is unknown how they met their doom, but even after centuries of being dead and bound to their watery graves, they still kept a good sense of humor.

Behavior[ | ]

When they first hears a player, they will wave at them with their swords. They will stand in their positions and if a player interacts with them, they will talk with the player with a ghostly, barely recognizable voice, which can be interpreted by the Translation Book. If they are attacked or robbed, they will chase the players and attack them, and may invade the submarine if you try to escape. They are capable of destroying doors, meaning even your own ship will not be safe if you decide to attack them. Additionally, Due to their ghostly, ethereal bodies, they are also capable of levitating, which makes it even harder to escape them.

Tactics[ | ]

The Dynamite is the best item to use if you want to kill the Ghost Pirates and steal their goods. If no dynamite is available, large crews with healing items may be able to tank their damage and kill them.

The Witch Doctor is the Doctor of the Shipwreck.

    Description[ | ]

The Witch Doctor is a reanimated skeleton, brought back to life by the mystical gems found in its eyesockets. Strangely, however, unlike the other undead skeletons found in the Cursed Waters, they have not fallen to the control of the curse. Perhaps they were a powerful magician that managed to surpass the control of the curse through his own arcane powers, and eventually found their way into the Shipwreck? Regardless of their origins, the Witch Doctor serves as the healer of those that dwell on the Shipwreck, and is friendly enough to help any explorers that manage to find their way into the cursed, decrepit ship.

    Behavior[ | ]

When he first hears a player, he will wave at them with his staff. He will stand in his position and if a player interacts with him, he will talk with the player using his native language, which can be translated by the Translation Book, and will instantly heal the player, restoring their health and curing any Afflictions. If he or his brethren are attacked or robbed, they will chase the players and attack with their swords and staves, and may invade the submarine if you try to escape. They are capable of destroying doors, meaning even your own ship will not be safe if you decide to attack them. Additionally, due to their ghostly, ethereal bodies, the Ghost Pirates are also capable of levitating, which makes it even harder to escape them. although the Witch Doctor lacks that ability due to their corporeal, skeletal form.

    Tactics[ | ]

The Dynamite is the best item to use if you want to kill the Ghost Pirates and the Witch Doctor and steal their goods. If no dynamite is available, large crews with healing items may be able to tank their damage and kill them.

    Dialogue[ | ]

    • You look like you are ridden with curses!
    • Let's get you back in tip top shape.

  • Now who left all these curses on you?
  • I've been here the whole time!
  • Anyway, you're better now.

  • Allow me to wrangle the hex from you.
  • Bet that feels a HEX of a lot better!
  • Told that joke everyday for a hundred years!
  • Still hasn't gotten a laugh.

  • Hex them!
  • Curses!
  • Curse upon you!
  • Do you think I can be killed again?!
  • FOOLS! A curse upon you!

The Voodoo Doll is a recruitable NPC rarely found in the Cursed Waters.

    Description[ | ]

The Voodoo Doll is an animated shrunken head stitched into a headless straw doll. Judging by its name, it appears the Voodoo Doll was created to be used in such dark practices, but something has brought it to life - perhaps the mysterious curse that taints the Cursed Waters, or perhaps the soul of its victim has found its way inside the doll and now lives in torment, trapped in the same object that has led to their demise...

    Behavior[ | ]

Once recruited, it will join the crew with a pipe wrench and will be able to do many tasks, such as repairing breaches, attacking invading enemies or enemies inside caves or using the Submarine's Turret. Similarly to Crew Bots, they can be instructed through the use of the Command Wheel to order them to do specific tasks.
