The Duopus is a common enemy found in the Atlantic Waters.

Duopuses are cephalopods notable for only having 2 tentacles. They are social animals and have a queen, the Quadken, which is the only female that is capable of reproducing, being the matriarch of all duopi. She is notable for possessing 4 tentacles and having a much larger size in comparison to normal duopuses. It is unknown what makes a female duopus become the queen. Baby Duopuses can also be commonly seen roaming the Atlantic Waters, or developing inside the crimson Duopus Eggs that permeate the rocky walls of the Quadken's domain.
Behavior[ | ]
When a Duopus spots the submarine, it will make a straight line for it. Once it is very close, it will latch onto the sub, and disable the shields for as long as the squid is holding onto the submarine. Two tentacles will appear inside, and cause a hull breach each. The Duopus will not release the submarine until all tentacles are severed in the interior.
