Description[]
The Dome Hub is a type of Civilization that is found at the end of the Ancient Abyss. Egyptians populate the Dome Hub and, rarely, you will be able to recruit an Egyptian Mummy.
It is a gigantic, towering jade structure with a large glass dome on top of it, the birthplace of the egyptian civilization, as well its last remnant. The interior of the dome is completely dry and inside it, an ancient egyptian society develops in the safety of the dome, built with the help of an unknown force.
The following are the NPCs found in the Dome Hub.
Lore[]
The Dome Hub was the birthplace of mankind, a garden of Eden hidden in the depths of The Living Infinite, created by an unknown, benevolent being, affectionally called "Mother", the original god of mankind. Inside, the last remnants of the ancient egyptian civilization develops in relative safety, hidden away from the rest of mankind, shielded from the need of technological advancements or the further development of their society, and living in a constant state of stagnation, like a living fossil of the ancient societies of mankind. Although they live in harmony and safety, they are doomed to a grim future, and their fates can be glimpsed through the Mechanical Abyss, the alternate biome of the Ancient Abyss.
Egyptians[]
The Egyptians are the citizens of the Dome Hub.
Description[]
The Egyptians are the remnants of Ancient Egyptian society. Unlike most beings encountered in The Living Infinite, the Egyptians are humans, and wear ancient egyptian clothing and carry swords. They have maintained many aspects of their ancestors' culture, but have not kept their religious beliefs; instead, they believe in an entity simply referred to as "the mother", which is hinted to have been made up by the pharaoh to control the populace and have a claim to the throne.
Behavior[]
When they first see a player, they will wave at them with their sword. They will stand in their positions and if a player interacts with them, they will talk with the player using their native language, which can be translated by the Translation Book. If they are attacked or robbed, they will chase the players and attack with their swords, and may invade the submarine if you try to escape. They are capable of destroying doors, meaning even your own ship will not be safe if you decide to attack them.
Tactics[]
The Dynamite is the best item to use if you want to kill the Egyptians and steal their goods. If no dynamite is available, large crews with healing items may be able to tank their damage and kill them. These enemies can NOT swim, if you trick them down the ladder leading up to the dome, you can kill them at the bottom.
Dialogue[]
- Behold!
- Our mighty monuments to the mother beyond!
- Please behold them.
- We've worked very hard on them for a very long time.
- Praise the mother and all that...
- ... But it sure would be nice if she would stop by to appreciate them...
- ... Once in a while...

The Egyptian Priestess is the Doctor of the Dome Hub.
Description[]
The Egyptian Priestess is the religious authority of the egyptian society, and is in charge of the religious ceremonies and practices, as well as medicinal procedures. She is easily differenciated from her fellow egyptians due to her lack of hair, blind white eyes and unique attire.
Behavior[]
When she first sees a player, she will wave at them with her staff. She and her brethren will stand in their positions and if a player interacts with them, they will talk with the player using their native language, which can be translated by the Translation Book. If they are attacked or robbed, they will chase the players and attack with their swords, and may invade the submarine if you try to escape. They are capable of destroying doors, meaning even your own ship will not be safe if you decide to attack them.

Dialogue[]
- I sense you are hurt and sick.
- May the mother grant you health.

The Egyptian Mummy is a recruitable NPC rarely found in the Dome Hub.
Description[]
The Egyptian Mummy is the mummified remains of a long dead Egyptian, that has been brought back to life through the use of unknown means. It is visibly rotten and most of the linen bandages have fallen off, exposing its decomposing, rotten body.
Behavior[]
Once recruited, they will join the crew with a pipe wrench and will be able to do many tasks, such as repairing breaches, attacking invading enemies or enemies inside caves or using the Submarine's Turret. Similarly to Crew Bots, they can be instructed through the use of the Command Wheel to order them to do specific tasks.
