Barrels are containers found in Caves.

Barrels are storage devices located primarily in Caves. Barrels can be destroyed in one hit and will drop one of a variety of pickups. Rarely, a Hermit Crab will be hiding inside it and will attack the players once disturbed. Two Barrels can also be found on the bottom floor of the Shipwreck in the Cursed Waters and throughout The Nautilus in the final biome. However, ones from the former only drop Torpedoes while ones from the latter drop both Torpedoes and Fuel.

Barrels have a few possible drops upon being broken open.

- The emblem on the Barrel reads, "Mobilis In Mobili," followed by an "N". This is a reference to Captain Nemo's brand from Jules Verne's Twenty Thousand Leagues Under the Sea.
