The Barnacle Grabber is a common enemy found in the Infected Depths.
Description[]
The Barnacle Grabber appears to be a large colonial organism comprised of experimental barnacles. It has a round, rough body, with 4 of the larger barnacles having long sharp limbs protuding from them, that act as the creature's means of propulsion and defense.
Behavior[]
Like other grabber-type enemies, it will latch on ship if it's close, disabling shields and causing hull breach. 4 segmented limbs will appear inside, which will swing at nearby players to damage them. The limbs have low health and are only dangerous due to their quantity and the fact that each of them will cause a hole. Once all limbs are destroyed, the body floats off, now completely harmless, but is now vulnerable if you wish to finish it.
Additionally, it will sometimes spawn from Barnacle Mines when they are destroyed.
