The Backpack is a Player Upgrade that once picked up, will add a backpack to the player character's back and will allow them to hold 2 different Items, which can be switched between them by pressing the right mouse button.
The odds of finding the Backpack increase if someone lacks one. All players can also start already equipped with one if the host toggles its Custom Game Options.
